Ingredients
- 1 medium head broccoli, broken into florets
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil
- Sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
- Freshly chopped parsley leaves, for garnish (optional)
- Optional Seasonings (use one or mix and match):
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place broccoli florets in a large bowl and drizzle with avocado oil.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any desired optional seasonings.
- Toss well with your hands to evenly coat the florets. Do not over-oil to prevent sogginess.
- Transfer broccoli to the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 9–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Carefully remove with tongs and serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- Smaller florets cook more evenly and get crispier edges.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket to ensure proper air circulation.
- Add a squeeze of lemon or a sprinkle of grated cheese before serving for extra flavor.
