Ingredients
Salmon and Seasonings
- 4 salmon filets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
Other
- Nonstick cooking spray (for air fryer insert)
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare salmon: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Pat the salmon filets dry thoroughly with a paper towel to remove excess moisture, allowing the seasoning to adhere better.
- Season the salmon: Drizzle the salmon filets with olive oil. Evenly sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and fresh cracked black pepper over each filet to taste.
- Prepare air fryer basket: Generously spray the bottom of the air fryer basket or insert with nonstick cooking spray to prevent the salmon from sticking during cooking.
- Air fry the salmon: Place the seasoned salmon filets carefully into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for about 8 minutes, or until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C) and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve: Use a spatula to carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer to avoid breaking the fillets. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your perfectly air-fried salmon!
