These Cheeseburger Sliders are easy, bite-sized versions of classic cheeseburgers. With a saucy ground beef mixture, melted cheddar cheese, and dill pickles, all nestled between soft slider buns, they’re perfect for a quick dinner or party appetizer.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 package (12 sliders) dinner rolls
  • 1 block (8 ounces) cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ dill pickle, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Cook the Beef Mixture: Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling hot, about 1 minute. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up into small pieces, until browned on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add the Onion and Sauces: Add the sliced onion and sauté until tender, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the dinner rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom halves on the lined baking sheet. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls, top with shredded cheddar cheese and sliced pickles (if using). Place the top half of the rolls on top.
  5. Bake the Sliders: Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the sliders are golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.
  6. Serve: Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a slice of tomato or lettuce inside the sliders before baking.
  • If you want a bit of heat, try adding a few dashes of hot sauce or jalapeños.
  • You can make these sliders ahead of time and bake them when you’re ready to serve.
