Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and ready in just 15 minutes. Made with just five simple ingredients, they’re the perfect quick and healthy side dish.

  • Total Time: 16 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, stem trimmed and sliced in half
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Trim the bottom 1/4 inch of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half.
  2. Place Brussels sprouts in a large microwave-safe bowl and add 1/4 cup water. Cover and microwave for 3 minutes.
  3. Carefully drain the water, then toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  5. Add Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket and cook for 7–8 minutes, shaking the basket every 3 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Microwaving before air frying helps soften the Brussels sprouts for a tender inside.
  • Shake the basket regularly to ensure even crisping.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste, or add a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving for extra flavor.
