Ingredients
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, stem trimmed and sliced in half
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Trim the bottom 1/4 inch of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half.
- Place Brussels sprouts in a large microwave-safe bowl and add 1/4 cup water. Cover and microwave for 3 minutes.
- Carefully drain the water, then toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Add Brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket and cook for 7–8 minutes, shaking the basket every 3 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Microwaving before air frying helps soften the Brussels sprouts for a tender inside.
- Shake the basket regularly to ensure even crisping.
- Adjust seasoning to taste, or add a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving for extra flavor.
