This super simple Chocolate Fudge comes together in just minutes! Made with sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and a hint of vanilla, it’s the perfect treat to satisfy your chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 ounces)
  • 2 cups (1 12-ounce bag) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Butter a square pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the fudge. Set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe 2-quart bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Heat on high for 1 minute.
  3. Remove the bowl from the microwave and let it sit for 1 minute. Stir to combine. If needed, heat for an additional 30 seconds and stir until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and let it cool completely. You can speed up the cooling process by refrigerating it for about 1 hour.
  6. Once cooled, cut the fudge into 1-inch squares. Store in an airtight container. Fudge does not need to be refrigerated.

Notes

  • Be sure to use sweetened condensed milk, not evaporated milk, as it will not set properly.
  • If the fudge is too soft, refrigerate it or add an extra ¼ cup of chocolate chips for a firmer texture.
  • Some users have found that using a metal spoon (instead of a wooden one) helps the fudge set properly.
