Ingredients
- For the Bars:
- 1 box funfetti cake mix
- ⅓ cup oil
- 2 eggs
- For the Icing:
- ½ stick softened butter
- ½ block softened cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- Sprinkles (as desired)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the funfetti cake mix, oil, and eggs. Do not follow the directions on the box. Stir until a dough forms.
- Press the cake mixture into an 8×8-inch pan lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the bars at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes. Once baked, let the cake cool completely. If you’re in a hurry, refrigerate it to speed up the cooling process.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, softened cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add sprinkles to the icing as desired and mix until well combined.
- Once the cake has cooled completely, spread the icing evenly on top of the cake.
- Cut into bars and enjoy this fun and gooey treat!
