This fun and delicious Grape Salad features plump grapes covered in a silky cream cheese dressing, topped with crunchy pecans and a touch of brown sugar. A sweet and creamy dish that’s perfect for any occasion!

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 13 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds seedless green grapes (about 2.5 cups)
  • 2 pounds seedless red grapes (about 2.5 cups)
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup + 1 tablespoon sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 2 ½ tablespoons pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the seedless grapes thoroughly. Set them aside to dry completely.
  2. In a stand mixer or with a handheld mixer, cream together the softened cream cheese and sour cream on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing on medium-high speed for another 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the green and red grapes together to evenly combine.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the grapes. Use a wooden spoon or silicone spatula to stir the grapes and the dressing together, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Cover the grape salad tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  7. Just before serving, remove the salad from the fridge and sprinkle the top with brown sugar and chopped pecans.

Notes

  • This salad is best served chilled, so make sure to let it sit in the refrigerator before serving.
  • Feel free to substitute the pecans with other nuts such as walnuts or almonds for a different crunch.
  • If you prefer a sweeter version, add more brown sugar on top before serving.
