Ingredients

  • 810 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, dried sage, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with a paper towel.
  3. Place the chicken in a large ziplock bag and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken, then massage the spices into the chicken until it’s evenly coated.
  5. Preheat the grill to 350°F (175°C) and make sure it is clean. Lightly spray the grates with nonstick cooking spray.
  6. Add the chicken drumsticks to the grill and cook for about 25 minutes, flipping every 3-5 minutes to prevent burning.
  7. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Serve and enjoy!

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix and olive oil for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • If you like a smoky flavor, you can add wood chips to the grill while cooking.
