Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef, lean
- ½ medium onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup macaroni noodles, uncooked
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- ¼ cup Tastefully Simple® Mama Mia Marinara Sauce Mix
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat and return the pan to the stovetop.
- Add in the tomato sauce, noodles, tomato paste, garlic salt, beef broth, and Marinara Sauce Mix. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook until the pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.
- Stir the mixture, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover again and let the cheese melt.
- Once melted, serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, feel free to add some Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes.
- If you don’t have the Tastefully Simple Mama Mia Marinara Sauce Mix, you can substitute with regular marinara sauce.
- This dish can be topped with grated parmesan cheese for added richness.
