This Italian Beef Pasta Skillet is a quick, one-pan meal that combines flavorful ground beef, pasta, and cheese in a rich tomato sauce. Ready in just 25 minutes, it’s the perfect weeknight dinner for the whole family!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, lean
  • ½ medium onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup macaroni noodles, uncooked
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 ½ cups beef broth
  • ¼ cup Tastefully Simple® Mama Mia Marinara Sauce Mix
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper in a skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat and return the pan to the stovetop.
  2. Add in the tomato sauce, noodles, tomato paste, garlic salt, beef broth, and Marinara Sauce Mix. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook until the pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. Stir the mixture, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover again and let the cheese melt.
  4. Once melted, serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, feel free to add some Italian seasoning or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • If you don’t have the Tastefully Simple Mama Mia Marinara Sauce Mix, you can substitute with regular marinara sauce.
  • This dish can be topped with grated parmesan cheese for added richness.
