Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Chicken: In a shallow dish, mix the flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Dip each chicken breast into the flour mixture, pressing to coat both sides evenly.
- Bake the Chicken: Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: While the chicken bakes, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Whisk in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Serve: Once the chicken is done, plate it and drizzle with the warm creamy garlic sauce. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can serve this dish with a side of steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
- For added flavor, you can sprinkle more grated Parmesan on top of the chicken before serving.
- You can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to the sauce for a tangy twist.
- If you prefer a crispier crust, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
