Ingredients
- 3 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz additional pineapple juice (for layering or stronger flavor)
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- Ice (crushed or cubed)
- Sugar (for rimming the glass)
- Lemon wedge or slice (for garnish)
- Optional: ½ oz simple syrup or honey (for sweetness)
Instructions
- Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into sugar to coat. Set the glass aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine pineapple juice, lemon juice, and any optional sweetener like simple syrup or honey.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled and frothy.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lemon slice or pineapple wedge. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- If preparing ahead, store the juice mixture in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but make sure to rim and ice the glass just before serving.
- Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more simple syrup or honey.
- You can experiment with flavor variations, such as coconut water for a tropical twist or cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
