Ingredients
- 37.4 g peaches, stoned and chopped
- 20 g raspberries
- 30 g sugar
- 36 g water
- Lemon wheel, peach slices, and raspberries for garnish (optional)
- Soda maker machine (optional)
- 6 oz sparkling water
Instructions
- Make the syrup: Measure out your raspberries, peaches, sugar, and water, then add them to a pot. Mix the ingredients together and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes until the berries are mushy and the liquid is dense in color.
- Cool and strain: Remove the pot from heat and allow it to cool down. Once cool, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine sieve into a sealable container. Store the syrup in the fridge for up to 1 month.
- Assemble the soda: To make your Raspberry Peach Soda, pour 2 tablespoons (or more, depending on your sweetness preference) of the homemade syrup into a glass filled with ice.
- Top with sparkling water: Top the glass with sparkling water, using a soda maker if desired. Stir gently in an upward motion to combine all the ingredients.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with a lemon wheel, peach slices, and a few raspberries for a beautiful presentation. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a sweeter soda, simply add more syrup to taste.
- If you don’t have a soda maker, store-bought sparkling water works just as well.
- The homemade syrup can be made in larger batches and stored in the fridge for future use.
