Ingredients
- 19 g peaches, sliced
- 13 g strawberries, sliced
- 25 g water
- 7.5 g cane sugar
- 0.20 tsp lemon juice
- 6 oz sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Strawberries and peach slices for garnish (optional)
- Soda maker (optional)
Instructions
- Make the syrup: Cut the peaches and strawberries into small slices. Place them in a small pot with water, lemon juice, and cane sugar. Bring to a low boil and allow the mixture to simmer for 20 minutes, until the strawberries are pale in color and mushy.
- Cool and strain: Once the syrup has cooled, strain out the fruit and filter the syrup into a sealable container. Store the syrup in the fridge for up to one month.
- Prepare the soda: To make your Strawberry Peach Soda, pour 2 oz of syrup into a glass filled with ice. Top with 6 oz of sparkling water.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with strawberry and peach slices for extra flavor. Stir gently and enjoy this refreshing drink!
Notes
- For a sweeter soda, adjust the syrup to your desired taste.
- If you prefer a fizzy base, use a soda maker to carbonate the water before adding the syrup.
- The syrup can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for future use.
