- Whip Egg Whites: In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites until firm peaks form. Add a few drops of lemon juice to help stabilize the meringue.
- Add Sugar: Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to beat the mixture until stiff peaks form.
- Coloring (Optional): If you want colorful meringues, add food coloring with a toothpick when the meringue is almost fully beaten.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 90-100°C (194-212°F). Pipe or spoon the meringue onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 1.5 hours or until the meringues are dry and can be easily lifted off the paper.
- Cool: Let the meringues cool completely before enjoying!
