Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 2 boxes Macaroni and Cheese (your preferred brand, with boiling water, milk, and butter as usual ingredients)
- 1 can Rotel (seasoned diced tomatoes)
- 1 packet taco seasoning (usually requires water)
Instructions
- In a large pot, prepare the macaroni and cheese according to the package instructions.
- While the macaroni is cooking, brown the ground beef or turkey in a separate large pan. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning to the cooked meat (usually with a bit of water, as instructed on the seasoning packet). Stir until well combined.
- Stir in the can of Rotel diced tomatoes with the seasoned meat and allow it to warm through.
- Once the macaroni and cheese is ready, add it to the meat mixture. Stir until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- You can add extra toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions for additional flavor.
- Feel free to substitute the ground beef with ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version of this dish.
- For extra heat, add some jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce to the meat mixture.
