Ingredients

  • 2 lb hot turkey sausage
  • 1 (30-32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey sausage until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together the tater tots, cooked sausage, and both cheeses. Pour the mixture into the prepared 9×13-inch pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and milk. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the tater tot mixture.
  5. If making ahead, cover and refrigerate at this point until ready to bake.
  6. Bake uncovered for 60–70 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • This casserole can be made in advance and refrigerated or frozen for later.
  • If baking after refrigerating, you may need to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
