Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
Notes
- If you prefer a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
- Serve this dish over rice or with mashed potatoes to soak up the flavorful sauce.
- You can also substitute chicken thighs for a more tender cut of meat.
