Ingredients
- 8 wooden skewers
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Juice of 4 limes
- ½ tablespoon sriracha
- 1 large red bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 large green bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent burning.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and sriracha. Add steak and peppers to the marinade and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Thread beef and peppers onto the soaked skewers, alternating pieces.
- Grill skewers for about 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until beef reaches your desired doneness and has a slight char.
- Serve hot with extra lime wedges if desired.
Notes
- Metal skewers can be used instead of wooden ones for convenience.
- Adjust sriracha to your preferred spice level.
- Great served with jasmine rice or a crisp cucumber salad.
