Whipped Feta Garlic Dip is a quick and delicious appetizer that combines creamy cream cheese with tangy feta and fresh garlic for a fluffy, flavorful dip. Ready in under 5 minutes, it’s perfect for serving with veggies or crackers at any gathering.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: About 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. block of feta cheese
  • 1 small lemon (juice and zest)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper (optional)

Garnish

  • 1 tsp. chopped chives (optional)
  • 1 tsp. olive oil, to drizzle on top
  • Lemon zest, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients, ensuring the cream cheese is softened for easy blending. Zest and juice the lemon, finely chop the garlic cloves, and have your optional salt and pepper ready.
  2. Blend Ingredients: Combine olive oil, garlic, cream cheese, feta cheese, lemon juice and zest, salt, and black pepper (if using) in a food processor. Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure everything is evenly blended.
  3. Whip Until Fluffy: Continue blending for an additional minute until the dip has a light, fluffy texture.
  4. Transfer and Serve: Spoon the whipped feta garlic dip into a serving bowl. Drizzle with extra olive oil and sprinkle over lemon zest, salt, pepper, and chopped chives if desired.
  5. Enjoy: Serve immediately with your favorite fresh vegetables, crackers, or pita bread as a tasty appetizer.

Notes

  • For best texture, ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature before blending.
  • Adjust garlic quantity to taste if a milder or stronger flavor is preferred.
  • Can be refrigerated for up to 3 days; stir before serving.
  • For a smoother dip, blend a little longer but avoid over-processing to prevent separating.
  • Pair with crisp veggies like cucumbers, carrots, or bell peppers for a healthy option.
