Ingredients
Gnocchi
- 1 pound shelf-stable potato gnocchi (substitute with 500g cauliflower gnocchi)
Seasoning & Oil
- 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- ½ Tablespoon Herbs de Provence (or Italian seasoning or any other seasoning of choice)
- 1 teaspoon onion granules
- 1 teaspoon garlic granules
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 180°C (365°F) and let it preheat for 3-5 minutes to ensure optimal cooking temperature.
- Season the gnocchi: In a large mixing bowl, combine the gnocchi with melted butter, olive oil, Herbs de Provence, onion granules, garlic granules, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together thoroughly so each gnocchi piece is evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Prepare the air fryer basket: Lightly spray the inside of the air fryer basket with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Then spread the seasoned gnocchi out in a single layer for even air circulation and crispiness.
- Air fry the gnocchi: Cook the gnocchi in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes until they turn golden brown on the outside and have a soft, pillowy texture inside. Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure the gnocchi cook evenly on all sides.
- Serve: Remove the gnocchi from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite tomato sauce or any dipping sauce of choice. Enjoy this deliciously crispy gnocchi as a snack or side dish.

- Make sure to shake the basket halfway through cooking to avoid uneven browning.
- Use cooking spray to prevent the gnocchi from sticking to the air fryer basket.
