Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated canned biscuits
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 24 cubes cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef:
- Cook the ground beef over medium-high heat in a skillet. Add taco seasoning and cook until the meat is browned and fully cooked.
- Prepare the Biscuits:
- While the meat is cooking, open the canned biscuits and separate the dough. Lightly roll each biscuit flat.
- Assemble the Taco Bites:
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon of cooked taco meat onto each biscuit, then top with a cube of cheddar cheese.
- Pull the dough up and over the meat and cheese, pinching the sides to completely seal the filling inside the dough.
- Air Fry the Taco Bites:
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
- Place the taco bites in the basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve:
- Serve the taco bites hot with salsa or your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the taco meat or top with spicy salsa.
- You can use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Feel free to add extra toppings like sour cream or guacamole after cooking for added flavor.
