Ingredients
Chicken
- 2 pounds chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Honey BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch in size. Season the chicken evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to enhance the flavor.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. When the oil is hot, add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet. Let them cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes to sear the chicken on one side. Then stir the chicken and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for an additional 3-5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165˚F. Once cooked, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Make and Coat with Honey BBQ Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce and honey until smooth and combined. Pour the honey BBQ sauce over the cooked chicken bites in the skillet, stirring gently until all pieces are evenly coated with the sauce. Serve warm.
