Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons Tabasco
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with the whole peeled garlic cloves.
- Once the butter has melted, add the honey, Tabasco, and a pinch of salt.
- Bring the mixture to a low simmer and cook for about 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken and the garlic to infuse the flavor.
- Remove the garlic cloves using a slotted spoon and discard them.
- Transfer the sauce to a mason jar or other heat-safe container and allow it to cool slightly before using.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Reheat in the microwave for 10–20 seconds to return to liquid form and stir well before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of Tabasco to make the sauce spicier or milder.
- Use raw honey for a richer flavor.
- This sauce pairs well with fried chicken, roasted vegetables, pizza, and even cheese boards.
- Remove garlic earlier if you prefer a milder garlic flavor.
