This Hot Honey Sauce delivers the perfect blend of sweet and spicy in just 8 minutes. Made with honey, garlic, butter, and Tabasco, it’s a versatile condiment for drizzling over chicken, veggies, pizza, and more. Customize the heat level to your taste!

  • Total Time: 8 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Tabasco
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with the whole peeled garlic cloves.
  2. Once the butter has melted, add the honey, Tabasco, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a low simmer and cook for about 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken and the garlic to infuse the flavor.
  4. Remove the garlic cloves using a slotted spoon and discard them.
  5. Transfer the sauce to a mason jar or other heat-safe container and allow it to cool slightly before using.
  6. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Reheat in the microwave for 10–20 seconds to return to liquid form and stir well before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of Tabasco to make the sauce spicier or milder.
  • Use raw honey for a richer flavor.
  • This sauce pairs well with fried chicken, roasted vegetables, pizza, and even cheese boards.
  • Remove garlic earlier if you prefer a milder garlic flavor.
