Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1½ pounds)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with smoked paprika, cracked pepper, and salt. Arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Spread the mayo-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of Parmesan over the coated chicken.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a salad for a complete meal.
- If you prefer a crispier top, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- For a variation, add a sprinkle of lemon zest or a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
