- Diced red bell pepper
- Shredded lettuce
- Sliced avocado

Instructions
- Heat Oil and Sauté Aromatics: Add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking them for about 3-4 minutes until they become fragrant and softened.
- Cook Turkey with Seasoning: Add the ground turkey and 1 tablespoon of homemade taco seasoning to the skillet. Cook the turkey, stirring occasionally, until it is almost browned and cooked through.
- Add Pineapple and Salsa, Simmer: Stir in the diced pineapple and ½ cup of your favorite jarred salsa. Lower the heat and let the mixture simmer gently until the turkey is fully cooked and the flavors meld together.
- Assemble Tacos: Spoon the cooked turkey mixture into your favorite taco shells. Top with your choice of sliced red cabbage, diced red bell pepper, shredded lettuce, avocado slices, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice to finish.
Notes
- Use lean ground turkey (97% lean) for a healthier option without sacrificing flavor.
- Homemade taco seasoning can be customized to your taste or swapped with a store-bought blend.
- For added heat, consider adding chopped jalapeños or hot sauce to the turkey mixture.
- Serve immediately to keep taco shells crisp.
- Leftover turkey mixture can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated for another quick meal.
