Instructions
- Prepare the brine: In a medium bowl, stir together the warm water, granulated sugar, and kosher salt until both the sugar and salt are completely dissolved, creating a flavorful brining liquid.
- Brine the chicken: Submerge the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the brining liquid, ensuring they are fully covered. Allow the chicken to soak at room temperature for 15 minutes to enhance juiciness and flavor.
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 450°F (232°C) to get it ready for baking the chicken to perfection.
- Season the chicken: Remove the chicken breasts from the brine, pat them completely dry with paper towels. Brush each breast evenly with olive oil, then season with black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and optional dried thyme or other herbs of your choice.
